do you ever get tired of hearing how great your paintings are? 0(^_^)0 <3
I wish I could draw and paint that easily and airy.
Oh ! I really like this one. Nice job boomer !
thanks my friends so much! irina: i just try really really hard to make it "look" easy:) and yes janet....boomer is exhausted after this one. and selina....sadly perhaps, the answer is 'no'...-)
You can't imagine how I admire this capacity of yours of playing with light rays in the shadow. The mist over the lake and the colorful surface of the water are amazing. Bravo again, Tom.
thank you all so much - i really appreciate your comments. this was a very tricky one - i was trying for an atmosphere of soft, diffuse, refracted light as seen right after a rain shower; while still hoping for an image that was not weak or lacking in focus
ESTUPENDO, EL PROTAGONISTA ES EL PUENTE, PERO EL ENTORNO ES MUY BUENO. CONGRATULATIONS!
thanks a million juan, nacho, and karen. much appreciated - tom
tom ..the painting could almost be from a different period than present day it reminds me of romanticism ..beautiful
Good one, Tom! I especially like the lavender-ish shadows, great idea. I'd probably be too chicken to do something like that! Nice and atmospheric, I love it!
thanks so much jane and frank - very kind of you. a lot of the colors in this one - the lavenders, pale yellow, light blue - were holbein, chalky tones; a bit more opaque, and just dropped into the wet transparent wash, to help emphasize the misty look i was hoping to get. cheers - tom
Thomas, Beautiful light and color in this painting
thanks so very much becky
I never saw this one, a very romantic scene perfectly painted! The tree on the left is just what the doc ordered, great Tom.
thanks brother nick - letting my cheese show a little here. but i love this spot and i appreciate your words a lot. thanks - tom
