thanks gregory - it took about 45 minutes to draw - and about 2-3 hours to paint...but, i did this same painting 3 times before i could even get it close to being right!!
Another masterpiece of yours, Tom. No matter how long it takes to do it (I'm quite sure it took shorter than the two previous) but what really matters is allowing us to contemplate this wonder. Congrats again, Tom.
thank you all so much - can't tell you how much i appreciate your thoughts and words. and robin, i did stand in the muddle of chambers street - in front of the tweed courthouse on the right - but only long enough to do a b/w value/composition sketch in pencil. took a couple of photos, and painted it in the studio
i am deeply grateful for and appreciative of all your generous comments - it means a great deal to me. and yes, i do give workshops - a new schedule is on hold for a while as i am working on a dvd and new book project at the moment. but check back here for updates. thanks again - and all my best wishes - tom
